The original GamersMark was founded on March 2, 2000 by Dan Blomberg. Since
that time GamersMark has undergone five major revisions. Since the creation
of GamersMark many of our staff members have come and gone, the few remaining
originals are currently administrators as well as writers.
One of the key things in creating GamersMark was uniqueness. GamersMark was
going to try to provide the readers things that would entice them to choose
GamersMark over other gaming websites. The first advancement placed in GamersMark
is the ever growing members area. With only 3 blanks that need to be filled
in, the number of people that enjoy member's options is astounding. The biggest
feature of our members area is the ability to comment on all the reviews and
articles posted by the staff. With the simple click of a button instantaneous
opinions are added to the bottom of our articles.
GamersMark is committed to advancing and changing. GamersMark will always
be adding new options to its member’s area as well as to public areas
of the website. GamersMark is keeping up with technology by providing XML/RSS
feeds for all of its content to allow its readers to get the newest content
with ease. The newest revision allowed for easier navigation around GamersMark
by linking all of its content together.
Also, GamersMark provided coverage of E3 2005 from the conference center itself
for the first time ever. This coverage shows GamersMark's steadfast dedication
to the gaming community and its desire to stick around for some time to come.
