Bethesda hands over development for next Fallout
While Bethesda is busy thinking up the next world and chapter for its flagship Elder Scrolls series, it keeps the ball rolling with Fallout by handing it over to its original creators.
Obsidian Entertainment, a group bred from former Black Isle and Interplay developers and makers of such titles as Neverwinter Nights 2, said they "jumped at the chance" to continue the series they lovingly created.
Details are slim on Fallout: New Vegas but if the title is any indication, we cautiously assume it takes place in Las Vegas... or something (in the future).
Bethesda promises a similar play style to Fallout 3 despite the switch to a different team, but went so far to clarify that it will not be a sequel to the third installment.
GamersMark will have more as details develop.
