“The recent days have been boring for gamers...”
First I would like to state that Capcom is just wrong for the whole GC non-exclusive games thing. Yeah you know what I’m talking about the Fantastic Five is what many called them. Resident Evil 4, P.N.03, Viewful Joe, Killer 7 & Dead Phoenix all games that was thought to be GameCube Exclusive but now announced on all consoles… all but Resident Evil 4. Sucks don’t it meh what happened to “For the sound growth of the gaming industry. For GameCube” Or how about this one “The 4th Production Studio of Capcom would like to take this opportunity to announce 5 new and exciting games for the GameCube”. Well if that wasn’t saying that the games were exclusive than I don’t know what is. Man it should be illegal to play with gamers emotions like that. But hey life’s not fair now is it. Yeah I know what happened the big wigs at Capcom were thinking all about the money. Multi-Platform = more copies sold… Funny how they didn’t think the same way with that sorry ass Devil May Cry 2. Hell Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami even went as far as saying he will never do another PS2 game again. Well sorry but that doesn’t stop the bosses at Capcom from giving the PS2 a port of you great GameCube games now do it? Well I really don’t know what I’m complaining about. When games go exclusive to PS2 or Xbox. I always bitch about how it would be better if all 3rd party games were multi-platform. But here I am complaining when it does happen but with the wrong console. Does that make my logic horribly flawed..? Well yeah it does. In all truth they should be multi-platform games because all true gamers no matter what console they own should have the chance to play top quality games.
There’s another thing bothering me lately too. Game development houses that have tons classic games. Bring some of them back for the new generation of videogames. But bring the wrong ones back… The first and biggest perpetrator has to be Sega. Oh damn will we ever see another Shinning Force, Fighting Vipers, even better Fighters MegaMix, Galaxy Force, Hang On, Space Harrier, After Burner, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Dragon Crystal, & last but far very far from least Psycho Fox. Sure you probably never heard of most of these but they are all great games. The one I’m most pissed about is Psycho Fox what a great game it was. And the bad thing is a sequel to Psycho Fox never even hit Sega Genesis. This… my friend is a bad thing Sega gives us new installments of games like Virtual Cop, House Of The Dead, & Toe Jam & Earl. And they wonder why they aren’t making as big of an impact as a third party developer like everyone thought they would. Other perpetrators include Konami (where’s my Battletoads?), Nintendo (were for art thou Kid Icurus?), Tecmo (Tecmo Bowl… I’m waiting?), Namco (where’s my WeaponLord), and the list goes on. How about publishers posting polls on their respective sites asking gamers which of their classic franchises do we want back. Even though Developers would most likely not even think twice on the gamer’s opinion. This became clear to me when Tecmo held a poll on their site on what console the new Ninja Gaiden should be on. About a good 70% choose GameCube. 20% PlayStation 2. 10% Xbox. Pretty messed up Xbox got the game and got it exclusive at that.

Lastly I would like to point out to all you lonely pervert’s out there in the Trailer Parks Denton Texas (heh). EGM recently gave the world the reason why Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball got its Mature rating. There are in fact nude boobs in DOAX. While they are for sure better to look at than BMX XXX horrible women. But its all for pervs any way you put it. To get nude breast in DOAX you’ll have to finish the game in less than 13 min and continue for that saved game. That means no playing Volleyball, no Casino, & no other mini-games. Do this and when you start on your old saved data when choosing your swimsuit you will have the option of T(topless) and once you start up a game your player and everyone else will have their tits out all in your face. I didn’t try this yet so I’m not even sure it works. Hell I sold my copy 4 days ago.
That about wraps it up. The Videogame industry is always boring around this time of the year. Everybody has to get quiet until E3 so we gamers have to wait until then to get that special feeling over a new title coming to a console near you.
