Final Fantasy XI to Cube???

June 30th, 2001 (12:00am) - Recently, SquareSoft’s own Hironobu Sakaguchi, creator of the Final Fantasy series, commented on the first online Final Fantasy game, reguarding its multiplatform release. Although not totally a confirmation persay, Final Fantasy is in development as of now for both the PS2 and PC, however in reguards to the game’s future Sakaguchi said that in order to get a broader audience the game would be released on other consoles in the future. Of course, as of now, the only two consoles that the game would make it to are GameCube and XBOX. Although no confirmation of other multiplatform Final Fantasy titles, it seems that this one is only due to the online capabilities. In order for the Cube to get this game, their online plans need to be up and ready sometime soon. If this game were to create a large enough userbase for Nintendo Square may consider bringing other titles to the system. More as it breaks... |Eagle|
