THQ bringing 15 titles to GC
June 19th, 2001 (12:00am) - THQ was to announce that they were bringing in 15 titles to GameCube, and THQ president and CEO Brian Farrell, is eagerly anticipating the release of the GameCube and the impact that it will have on the video game industry. "THQ is extremely excited about Nintendo GameCube and the impact it will have on the videogame business. As a top third-party supporter of Nintendo’s last console system, THQ looks forward to bringing its world class development talent and exclusive franchises to the next generation of Nintendo consoles.” He seems set that Nintendo is sure to make a splash in the industry with their new system, and fully supports it. A few titles were announced as the rest are still to be done so. The ones that were announced were MX2003 featuring Ricky Carmichael; WWF Wrestlemania, Jimmy Neutron, boy Genius; Rugrats; Rocket Power; SpongeBob Squarepants; Tetris Worlds; and finally Scooby-Doo.
