Acclaim GameCube Support Grows
June 19th, 2001 (12:00am) - Acclaim had several titles shown on Nintendo’s release list for GameCube and have confirmed several more including Crazy Taxi, 18-Wheeler, Legends of Wrestling, and Jeremy McGrath Supercross World. Turok Evolution is still an unofficial title and has yet to be announced. Acclaim promises a total of 12 titles for the year from March 2002 to March 2003. These titles are unannounced but more than likely will include a few of the titles mentioned here. The March 2002 to March 2003 year of games is said not to include the four titles that were set for GameCube’s initial launch date, which were All-Star Baseball 2002, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX2002, XG3 Extreme Racing, and NFL Quarterback Club 2002.
