Main man set to retire....

July 19th, 2001 (12:00am) - Nintendo of America recently announced that executive vice president of sales and marketing Peter Main is to retire from Nintendo officially on February first of next year, after joining the company in 1987. As probably in Peter Main’s wishes, he obviously wanted to stay to see out the launch of Nintendo’s next-generation console, the GameCube. The replacement for him will be the current Nintendo of Canada president Peter MacDougall.

The GamersMark staff would like to congratulate Peter Main for his excellent work and attitude that ensured the success of Nintendo in the past and no doubt will do the same throughout the GameCube’s life.
