Activision elects Kenneth L. Henderson to Board of Directors

July 31st, 2001 (12:00am) - Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that Kenneth L. Henderson has been elected to its Board of Directors effective immediately. Henderson joins the Board following the resignation of Harold A. Brown.

Mr. Henderson is a managing partner of the New York City law firm of Robinson Silverman Pearce Aronsohn & Berman LLP, where he has been a partner since 1987. Mr. Henderson has experience in a wide range of corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, public and private financings and domestic and international joint ventures. In addition to his substantial transactional practice, Mr. Henderson provides day-to-day corporate, securities and business law advice to publicly held and privately owned business clients in the United States and abroad in a variety of industries. Mr. Henderson graduated cum laude from New York University School of Law in 1979, where he was a Root-Tilden Scholar and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received a B.A. with high honors from Auburn University in 1976. Mr. Henderson also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Ampal-American Israel Corporation (NASDAQ: AMPL) and as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Population Communications International, Inc., a New York based international not-for-profit corporation involved in developing radio and television communication programs in developing countries.
