GameCube to ship 1.1 million units.
August 1st, 2001 (12:00am) - Nintendo has announced that for its November 5th launch of the Gamecube there will be 1.1 units available in North America. To do this they had to decrease the number of consoles being shipped on the September 14th launch in Japan. Nintendo plans to have shipped at least 4 million units by the time March rolls around next year. Reported by Kirk on August 1st, 2001 (12:00am)
