August 7^th, 2001 (12:00am) - Sega has announced the first online game to feature full voice chat support. up to 8 players can use the microphone to taunt rivals as well as communicate plans. Alien Front Online, is an all out action-drivin team-based combat game online, and off. Players have a choice of either defending earth from the invading armada or actually invade. No word yet as to how well this voice chat system will work on dial up, but knowing SEGA it will likely be the best we can expect.
