Spaceworld Blows Up
August 23rd, 2001 (12:00am) - Today at Spaceworld, Nintendo had many surprises in store for Gamecube. Not only were previously announced titles such as Metroid Prime, shown in video form, some new games were also shown. Zelda made an appearance in video form, looking......different to say the least. It seems the developers of Zelda got some inspiration from Jet Grind Radio, as the same cell-shading graphics are used in Links new adventure. Zelda also has a more comic book feel, as he has new animations such as tip toeing to sneak up on a enemy, which reminded me of a Bugs Bunny cartoon. Also shown in video form is a new game called Mario Sunshine. Mario is back and looking better than ever in this Caribbean inspired game. Mario was shown running around a small village while being chased by a huge mushroom with legs. I kid you not, and no Im not on drugs. The fat plumber also was carrying a backpack of some sort, which did exactly nothing in the video. Stay tuned to Gamersmark for more on these titles. Reported by John on August 23rd, 2001 (12:00am)
