Microsoft Donating $10 million

September 14th, 2001 (12:00am) - Just went some of you out there, myself included, thought that Microsoft was being selfish and not donating money to the Attack on America, Microsoft pulls through.

According to XboxAddict.com,Microsoft is donating 10 million dollars (5 million in cash and 5 million in software) to help people involved in the recent tragedy. The company wants the donation to be used by the United Ways of New York.s crisis fund. MS is also encouraging their 44,000 employees to make a personal donation. Assistance in reestablishing damaged, destroyed and affected computer networks are also being organized.

One thing I would like to say to Microsoft, is thanks. That $10 million is going to people who really need it, not their personal pockets.
