Network adapter delayed
October 20th, 2001 (12:00am) - Althouh Sony has firmly backed a Fall release date fot it’s online network adapter it appears we will have to wait until Spring of 2002 to get our hands on it. According to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 instruction manual (which has been approvd by SCEA) "Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 will support the Network Adaptor (Ethernet/modem) (for PlayStation 2) when it is available in spring of 2002." Don’t start running rampant through the streets in fits of sheer rage quite yet, players will still be ale to get online via one of several third party network adapters soon to be released. Although THPS3 is still set for it’s October 30th release date some of the other online PS2 games have been delayed until next year’s second quarter including SOCOM Navy Seals and Trbes: Arieal Assault.
