December 15th, 2001 (12:00am) - Bethesda’s official The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Web site has been updated with some new information on the forthcoming RPG. Over the course of several months this year, the company has been releasing information on the game’s skill system, including the stealth arts and combat techniques. This latest update covers the magic abilities in the game.
The Web site now lists nine new spells that players will be able to cast when the game ships next year, and it provides a significant amount of information on their effects and requirements. Some of the spells include destruction, illusion, mysticism, and restoration. Fans of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind can read up on these new spells at Bethesda’s site.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind is scheduled for release in the spring of 2002.
