EA Announces Lord Of The Rings Game
December 18th, 2001 (12:00am) - Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) officially announced today that they have signed an exclusive deal with New Line Cinema to create games based on the upcoming The Lord of the Rings movies. New Line Cinema will release three movies based on J.R.R. Tolkien&
EA will launch the first of their games in Fall 2002, in conjunction with the second motion picture, The Two Towers. Information on the subsequent games will be announced at a later date.
