Cologne, Germany, March 15, 2002 - Westka Interactive today unveiled Westka.com, the companys new Web site that invites English speaking visitors to explore the world of this up-and-coming game developer. Whether it is calling on a hero to save the fate of humanity in the eagerly anticipated The Y Project, or sending a player on an epic quest in the European RPG hit Arcatera, the gaming masters at German-based Westka Interactive continue to push the boundaries of computer entertainment. The site provides information on all of Westkas titles and invites visitors to sign up for a quarterly newsletter that will keep them updated on all of the companys activities. In addition, the site provides links to Westkas games, past corporate press releases, job openings, and a history of the company. The site will be continually updated and expanded throughout the year. Westka Interactive, based in Cologne, Germany, was formed in 1993. The company has developed numerous titles for the commercial marketplace - among them also several top sellers in Germany and has assembled an impressive team of experienced industry veterans, who formerly worked on titles such as Rayman, Settlers, Battle Isle and many others. Westka is the interactive entertainment arm of German media companies Brainpool TV AG and VIVA Media AG, both publicly quoted on the German "New market".market".
