Konami may not be talking about the XBOX version of Kojima’s masterpiece but that doesn’t mean others aren’t. The Hedgehog, through several different sources has managed to get a hold of some of the new additions that the XBOX version of MGS2 will be getting. They are as follows: enhanced lighting and particle effects, access to new areas that were closed off in the PS2 version, ability to play as Snake for the whole game, omitted dialogue and scenes. WOW, sounds like this is the version to watch for this year, although Kojima only knows when this game will finally see the light of day!

I’m not too sure on how factual that info is, so don’t become too attached and go stating it as fact to all of your buddies, but it is the first real tidbit of info we’ve had on the game since it was announced months ago.
