Nintendo reveals minor E3 Pre-Show details...
March 27th, 2002 (12:00am) - E3 seems to get bigger every year. Last year Nintendo blew everyone away with the titles they had on display in playable or video form. This year Nintendo has promised an even bigger show than last year. With games like Metroid, Mario, Zelda and even Mario Kart in playable form I wouldnt be surprised if some Nintendo fanboys who attend the event crap in their pants.
At every E3 major hardware manufactures always have a pre-show press conference to announce new games and other big news. This year is no exception, Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony will all hold exclusive events at various locations in Los Angeles on Tuesday May 21. Nintendo confirmed today that its press conference will be held at 10:30 am on the day before the monstrous event. At that pre-show Nintendo will reveal to the press new announcements, new games and ofcourse Super Mario Sunshine and The Legend Of Zelda in their latest form, which will be playable. Ohh and let us not forget Metroid. Today at this very moment discussions are taking place between NOA and NOE regarding what exactly will be shown at the pre-show press conference and at the show in general. At the moment specific details are hard to come by. A NOE spokesperson said: "I know were going to have playable Zelda and Mario Sunshine at the show, but I dont know anything else. Its great timing for us because we will have just launched, so therell still be a big hype and noise about it. I think its great that we can then go over there and see what games weve got to look forward to." Its a great time to be a gamer and an even better time to be a GameCube owner. Get ready for E3 people because you will without a doubt be blown away. My thoughts: Hell, as long as I see Metroid Prime then Im happy. Everything else is just a bonus.
