Ape Escape 2
 March 29th, 2002 (12:00am) - Sony recently released new screens and details regarding their upcoming PlayStation 2 adventure title, Ape Escape 2. Scheduled for release this July in Japan, the game will feature an extensive cast of characters including Hikaru, Pipochi, and Nasumi amongst others. While story details remain undisclosed, Ape Escape 2 will reportedly feature an overhauled control system where players can execute several special moves via analog stick. Below are several early screens from the game. Ape Escape 2 should not be confused with Sony’s previously released pseudo-sequel to Ape Escape dubbed Pipu Saru 2001, as it will be an all new game and a true sequel to the series.
