More information on Final Fantasys return to Nintendo...
March 9th, 2002 (12:00am) - The Final Fantasy games that will appear on the Nintendo GameCube and GameBoy Advance are said to be original titles that are being built ground-up from Nintendo hardware. Thanks to Yamuichi and the Q fund all of this is being made possible (more info in Lonnies post...) There is strong speculation that this title is based on the Final Fantasy anime "Final Fantasy Unlimited". Akitoshi Kawazu, who worked on Legend of Mana and SaGa for Squaresoft, began development on a "Final Fantasy Unlimited" project for an unnannounced console back in October of last year. His role in the Q Fund startup studio suggests that the game is indeed bound for GameCube and GameBoy Advance. GameCube/GameBoy Advance connectivity is expected to go to a new level with these titles. Rumor has it that these title will launch in Japan at least by the end of the year!
