Well XBOX365 fans, if you are anything like me, then your flat ass broke! You’ve walked the neighbor’s dog right to an early grave, you’ve dissected every piece of furniture in the house looking for change, and you’re fresh out of spare organs to donate. XBOX’s endless stream of must have titles has left the Hedgehog cleaned out of all cash reserves. (Sigh)...Looks like I’m gonna be getting that part time job as a male stripper after all. Sheesh, the things we do for XBOX games. Ah but enough with all our financial woes. XBOX rumors have reached critical mass this week; this is going to be the longest lineup of juicy new bits I’ve ever handed you hungry readers. So enjoy because these overloads are not going to be regular occurrences. At least, I hope not.
Overworks Overlooked?
Strangely, one of the first Sega developers to announce XBOX support still doesn’t have a game to brag about. Overworks, the creators of the DC’s marvelous Skies of Arcadia, will tell you they have an XBOX game in development but that’s all. Now many have assumed that this game is the sequel to SOA but here’s something to ponder. Overworks, formerly known as AM3, is also the team who created Streets of Rage, Shinobi, and Clockwork Knight; and in an old IGN interview with these boys that I dug up Overworks expressed their desire to remake some of their classic games. Do I smell the rebirth of another Sega franchise on XBOX, we’ll see.

Dino Crisis 3: Update.
Digging up info on Capcom’s own terror game on XBOX is harder than cloning dinosaurs for real, but the Hedgehog did it. Uh, with a little help from XBOXgamers.com of course. The game will be similar in graphics to Resident evil on the GC but with 3D backgrounds. This time the game takes place on a giant orbiting space station, and get this the game will support 4-player co-op. More news as we get closer to E3.
The Hedgehog’s Take- I don’t even want to know how the giant lizards got into space.
Microsoft Amps up XBOX Online!
Even before MS released Amped last year there was talk about a sequel to the fame oriented snowboarding game. Well, the sequels on its way but you won’t believe in what form. Microsoft is setting out to create the first Massive Multiplayer Online Snowboarding game! Imagine a virtual online mountain resort, with hundreds of online gamers hitting the slopes. Competing in races, trick tourneys, and vying for the attention of a virtual media system.
The Hedgehog’s Take- This could revolutionize snowboarding games like SSX did on the PS2!
XBOX Forecast: Chilly with a Chance of Blizzard!
So you know you’ve got the most amazing online gaming network planned that will have console gamers sleeping on your doorstep. But how do you get those PC gamers, to who online is old news, to grab an XBOX controller? How else, get one of the greatest PC game developers ever in your backyard. Blizzard, creators of killer-apps like Warcraft and Diablo, are most definitely making an exclusive game for XBOX. No word on what this game could be other than that it will be revealed in all its glory at E3. World of Warcraft however sounds just fine to me.

From software Brings out Some New Guns!
Kudos goes out to Magic Box for tipping the Hedgehog off on this one! From Software, creators of Armored Core, have modified their XBOX lineup as of late. Murakomo is still in the pipeline, but it has been joined by two Real time war simulators. Thousand Land a brand new game a real time strategy type of game with researchable troops and units. FS’s other XBOX game Gaia Blade has undergone a massive transformation it is now a real-time war game with customizable mechs battling it out over a floating Island kingdom.
The Hedgehog’s Take- I just want Murakomo, but hopefully these other games will appeal to Japanese fans!
Your Funk Fu is Strong Green One!
With all the Sega franchises coming to XBOX, you start to wonder whether SOA President Peter Moore and Bill Gates are old high school chums. This time Sega’s bringing its rapin sound masters Toejam and Earl to the Box later this year. And sounds like online play will be part of the duos new repertoire, I can’t wait.
