Impressions of Spiderman for the Nintendo GameCube...
April 17th, 2002 (12:00am) - After waiting for about a month for another good GameCube title I finally got my hands on Treyarchs Spiderman. Ive spent about two hours with the game so far and so far so good!
The game is almost exactly what I expected it to be, a fun game that will keep you busy for awhile. The game is really a looker too... very detailed , tons of geometry , but it does have some noticeable slowdown and thats a pain in the arse. Gameplay is decent as well, and web slinging has never been more fun. Staying true to the comic Spiderman can swing from any area in the game as well as perform mid-air attakcs against enemies. Pretty cool if you ask me...The game surprisingly isnt as easy as I thought it would be (I found myself failing to complete areas a little too often). Like I said this game is really meant to keep you busy for a short time and I believe it will do just that. But theres one last thing I have to say that I forgot to mention above... the camera is a biatch!!! Reported by Elias Dounis on April 17th, 2002 (12:00am)
