First Super Monkey Ball 2 info revealed!

April 20th, 2002 (12:00am) - The first Super Monkey Ball coincided with both GameCube launches here and in Japan and quickly became a fan favorite due to its simple and just damn fun gameplay. In the latest issue of GamePro it is revealed that Super Monkey Ball 2 is infact in development and along with some pics of the game the mag features some new details.

The game will offer:
more than 150 new levels
unique story mode
enhanced multiplayer games from first game
6 brand new multiplayer games

At the moment we cannot find scans of the pics of the game because pratically no one actually reads Lame Pro anymore but when they’re available expect them to be available here. Don’t expect too much from the screens though because impressions of those who have viewed them are that it looks just like the original except with better backrounds but I doubt that will matter to anyone...

Update: I told you we would get the scans! It’s a high quality one though so it will take some time to load. The game is looker!

Here it is:

LamePro Super Monkey Ball 2 Scan. Can you say Monkey Soccer!!!???

My thoughts: The first Super Monkey Ball was a great game , not my personal favorite but it was still damn fun. Infact according to some staffers here at Gamersmark.com , Super Monkey Ball in their opinion is still the best GCN game available and by no means is that a bad thing.
