Microsoft Cuts Xbox Projections
April 22nd, 2002 (12:00am) - Due to sluggish sales in Europe, Australia, and Japan, Microsoft was forced to cut their global hardware shipment projections from 4.5 to 6 million units by the end of June, to 3.5 to 4 million, but estimate 9 to 11 million units by June 2003.
It is still not known if Microsoft plans to cut the Xbox price by a near 40% in the Japanese market as they did in the European and British markets to help intensify sales. Reported by Michael Robinson on April 22nd, 2002 (12:00am) [From: XenGamers]
