New Contra Title to hit GC
 April 24th, 2002 (12:00am) - According to Gamers.nl, Konami is hard at work at a Contra sequel for the Nintendo GameCube.
A PS2 Contra title, Contra: Shattered Soldires, and a GBA Contra title, which is yet to be named, were announced earlier this year, but the GC title has only recently been announced, and is expected to hit stores in 2003. Konami has also discusses compatibility between the GC and GBA titles via the GC-GBA link cable, but nothing has been confirmed on that front.
