Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 going to all platforms.
April 25th, 2002 (12:00am) - Today Electronic Arts announced that the their next installment in the Need For Speed series will appear on all platforms. Hot Pursuit will feature over 20 playable tracks acrros all terrain and feature over 20 licensed cars, including the Ferrari 360 Spider, Lamborghini Murcielago, and Porsche Carrera GT. Hot Pursuit 2 will feature 5 gameplay modes , Quick Race, Single Challenge, Hot Pursuit, Championship, and Top Cop. The new mode Top Cop will allow gamers to play as a highway patrol car and chase down trouble makers in over 30 events. Completing these events will unlock more goodies such as new cars, tracks and upgrades. Top Cop mode is exclusive to the EA Seatle developed GameCube, Xbox, and PC versions... Sorry PS2 owners, I guess Black Box didn’t care enough for you guys to include the mode... Hot Pursuit 2 is scheduled for a summer release.
