Gamespot interviews Nintendos Perrin Kaplan...
April 30th, 2002 (12:00am) - The guys at Gamespot recently got a chance to conduct a lengthy interview with Nintendos vice president of corporate affairs, Perrin Kaplan. In this Q&A Miss Kaplan commented on Rareware, Metroid Prime, delays, and ofcourse...E3.
Heres an excerpt from the Q&A which sheds some light on the Rare situation...: GS: Rare is arguably one of Nintendos biggest assets where exclusive games are concerned. Has Rare told Nintendo that it plans on making games for other platforms besides the GameCube and Game Boy Advance in the next few years? PK: No, our good relationship with them continues and there arent any changes at this time. Star Fox is well on track to come out and theyre continuing to do their good work. Well see what the future holds, but weve stayed very close to them and they to us and they definitely have done good work with us over the years. GS: So you dont see them making games for the PlayStation 2 or Xbox over the next couple of years? PK: Youd have to ask them. I dont foresee it, but youd have to ask them. The entire Q&A can be found here . Reported by Elias Dounis on April 30th, 2002 (12:00am) [From: GameSpot]
