May 18^th, 2002 (12:00am) - We’ve been moaning and groaning about it before the Xbox was even launched; No keyboard and mouse?!

At the time, this was somewhat of a problem to many. Concerns were raised over how well could the control be in FPS titles, and how people would communicated online. Sure, headsets are nice, but sometimes, people would prefer a good ol’ keyboard.

Well, fast forward to the present. We find that the Xbox controller is suitable enough for Halo, and overall, many fans seem to have forgotten the whole issue, but finally, for those who couldn’t just let it go, comes the possibility they’ve been waiting for.

Well, sources say that there is... something in development.

It isn’t exactly a keyboard and mouse. It’s something else that should fill the void that the absence of the k&m have left though.

Information is slim now, but it is said that more info on the new peripheral could be leaked soon, and will most likely be officially revealed at E3.
