THQ Ships Scooby-Doo! for GBA
June 5th, 2002 (12:00am) - THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) today announced the release of "Scooby-Doo(TM)(C)!" for Game Boy(R) Advance, based on the upcoming live action movie scheduled to release in theaters nationwide on June 14. "Scooby-Doo!" for Game Boy Advance, featuring the mystery-solving gang of Scooby, Shaggy, Fred, Daphne and Velma, is now available at retail outlets nationwide.

Players will explore exotic locations inspired by the movie, searching for clues to complete missions and ultimately, solve Spooky Islands big mystery. Inspired by actual movie stills and artwork, the game features beautifully rendered environments and familiar characters in action/adventure gameplay. "Scooby-Doo!" was created by animation legends William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, and "Scooby-Doo! Where Are You?" is one of the longest-running animated series in television history. Currently airing on the Cartoon Network, the series is one of the networks top rated shows. Scooby-Doo was also recently voted kids favorite cartoon character on the Cartoon Network.
