Microsoft Gets Sued For Banned Commercial
June 25th, 2002 (12:00am) - Audrey Schebat, creator of the short film Life, is suing Microsoft over a controversial Xbox ad that Schebat alleges is a copy of her film. The advertisement shows the birth of a child and then follows it as it quickly ages and then goes flying into a grave. The commercial recently won an award at the International Advertising Festival, but it has been removed from UK TV because it was deemed too "shocking" for some viewers. Well have more on the story as it becomes available.
