Microsoft Expects Losses on Xbox
June 27th, 2002 (12:00am) - "Microsoft expects to lose US$750 millions in the current fiscal year to Xbox, which is around 91 billion yen or 773 millions Euro. Furthermore, Microsoft expects to lose US$1.1 billion to Xbox in the next fiscal year, which is around 134 billion yen or 1.13 billion Euro. Currently the manufacturing cost for Xbox is US$325, Microsoft is losing $150 per console sold at US$199."
