Sega Bringing "Sakura Taisen" to the PS2 and PC
July 1st, 2002 (12:00am) - Six titles of Sega’s (Overwork’s) Japanese hit series, Sakura Taisen (Sakura Wars, as known to some) are going to arrive on the PS2. These are the six:
- Sakura Wars - Atsuki Chisho Ni (drama TIC Adventure, Remake of Sakura Wars 1 (Saturn), releases: 2003)
- Sakura Wars 5 Action (releases: TBA)
- Sakura Wars 5 drama TIC Adventure (release: 2004)
- Sakura Wars Hime Nishiki (release: TBA)
- Sakura Wars Monogatari (release: TBA)
- Sakura Wars: Kouma (release: TBA) And Sega is also bringing Sakura Wars 3 to the PC, and Sega is interested in bringing the series over to the US and Europe. In other PS2 news, two limited edition color PS2’s will be released on by July 18th of this year, running for 30,000 Yen (Euro 252/USD $251) each.
