Panasonic Q Price Drop, and Sonic Team’s Rollin’ in Dough

July 1st, 2002 (12:00am) - Panasonic has slashed the price of the Q (the DVD, CD, and (S)VCD compatible GameCube)from 39,800 Yen (Euro 335/USD $332) to 34,800 Yen (euro 293/USD $291). It is only availible in Japan, for now at least, but Lik-Sang’s and other import merchants’ price for the Q are expected to drop.

And in other Nintendo-related news, Sega has announced that "Sonic Adventure 2: Battle" (Gamecube) and "Sonic Advance" (Game Boy Advance) have sold 1 million units each, world-wide.

I guess that’s where Yuji Naka got the cash to buy another Ferrari.
