New RPG Headed to Dreamcast

July 3rd, 2002 (12:00am) - DC Importers, get ready for yet another new Dreamcast title.

XenGamers reports:

"Japanese developer Symbio is gearing up for the release of its latest Dreamcast RPG, Castle Fantasia. Scheduled for release on July 18 in Japan, the game was originally developed by Studio EGO for the PC market. According to Symbio representatives, the game’s story will focus on a holy war that has raged for centuries. Players will assume the role of a solider who makes friends on both sides of the war and tries to bring about peace. Character designs and associated CG were reportedly handled by famous artist Kazue Yamamoto, known for his work on several manga and anime projects throughout Asia."

Hmm, pretty good for a dead system. One wonders what would have happened if Sega had dropped the price of the Dreamcast in Japan much sooner before it had died.
