THQ Appoints new Director of Business Development for Europe

(NASDAQ NMS: THQI), today announced that Mike Gamble will be joining the company as Director of Business Development for Europe. Mr. Gamble brings more than 7 years of production and development experience to his position, including a key high-profile tenure at Microsoft. Mr. Gamble took his first steps into the interactive arena when he joined Brighton-based game developer Epic Multimedia as a producer in 1995. This was followed by a brief stint as a senior producer with Sega before he was approached by Microsoft to establish the companyÕs first DirectX developer relations presence outside of the US, as European Manager, Windows Third Party Gaming. Most recently, since April 2001, Mr. Gamble held a position at leading middleware developer Mathengine, with the task to evangelise their proprietary TMKarmaÕ technology.
