July 13^th, 2002 (12:00am) - With Suikoden II, using the save file from the original Suikoden opened up extras like hidden characters. You’ll have to transfer the Suikoden II save to your PS2 memory card, but it will be compatible with Suikoden III. So far, Konami has been quiet as to what extras will be accessible via the Suikoden II save, so you "Suikoheads" may have to wait until you rip off the shrink-wrap and play it to learn of the extras. IMO, it’s better that way.
