"Shenmue III" Development Non-Existant
 July 17th, 2002 (12:00am) - Famitsu has reported that AM2, the Sega development team responsible for the Shenmue series, as well as the Virtua Fighter series, is currently uncertain as to whether or not it will see an Xbox release or not, nor is the title even currently in the planning stages.
It would be safe to assume that Sega-AM2 is waiting to see how well Shenmue II fairs on the Xbox before choosing which console to bring the next installment of the series to. Reported by Michael Robinson on July 17th, 2002 (12:00am)
