Deja Vu; Xbox Price Reduction?
 August 12th, 2002 (12:00am) - There has been heavy speculation in Japan that the Xbox will soon undergo yet another price cut within that region, from the current 24,800 Yen (about 213 Euro, $207 USD) to 19,800 Yen (about 170 Euro, $165 USD), making it about as inexpensive as the GameCube. It has also been reported that software price will be lowered as well, to under 5,000 yen (about 43 Euro, $42 USD).
However, no official word on either cut has been made by Microsoft as of yet. Reported by Michael Robinson on August 12th, 2002 (12:00am)
