Nintendo Of America delays the release of the GameCube’s 56k and broadband modems....

August 15th, 2002 (12:00am) - Nintendo of America has delayed the GameCube’s 56k modem and broadband adapter a month approximately. The 56k modem will now be available October 24 for $34.99 MSRP, while the Broadband Modem will be available November 9 for $34.99.

The GameCube’s stand alone online launch title Phantasy Star Online Episodes I & II is still planned for an October 29 release.

My thoughts: Well it didn’t make much sense in the first place for NOA to release the GameCube’s modems a month before the release of PSO.
