Sony is now officially Online!

September 6th, 2002 (12:00am) - Yes thats right. Today stores across the land put the new network adapter on the shelves. Granted you may have picked one up three days ago at some places like Best buy, for the rest of us there is Walmart. Anyhow now that the device is out expect a review of it shortly.

I picked mine up at 8:23 AM Today. The unit cost me $38.88, and the setup was fairly easy. Included with the package is a demo disk with an online demo of Madden 2003, as well as Frequency. But that was not enough for me. I picked up a copy of THPS3 for just $19.99. Not bad i say. I had a few issues with my local dialup isp regarding secure password authentication and why i need it. Thus i was unable to play madden 2003 demo. THPS3 works fine on the other hand. When examining the unit i noticed the connection for the Hard drive unit. Guess what. Any standard hard drive will fit into it. However, i have not tested the functionality of this. I need to do some testing and readings before im hooking up anything over a gig. I do not wish to burn up my PS2.

So until my complete review. Happy Gaming. Support THPS3 online today. It’s only 20 bucks!
