Ex-Sega Boss Killed by Wasp

September 13th, 2002 (12:00am) - From Mad Gamers:

Ex-Sega chief Victor Leslie collapsed and died after being stung on the tongue by a wasp that was hidden in a mouthful of ice cream. Leslie suffered a rare allergic reaction from the sting as his family and friends watched in horror during a barbecue.

His wife Pat gave the dad of two the kiss of life at their home in Ventnor, Isle of Wight, but was unable to save him. She said that he had never been stung before. She added, "He staggered, then just fell."

Leslie quit Sega in the 1990s.
