PlayStation 2 Ships 40 Million!
 September 19th, 2002 (12:00am) - Sony Computer Entertainment Inc, the Tokyo based parent of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) today announced that cumulative world-wide factory shipments of the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system had reached 40 million units.
The breakdown of shipments by region is: Worldwide PlayStation 2 Shipments by Region, as of September 17, 2002
-Europe/PAL (Sony Computer Entertainment Europe Limited) 12.06 million units
-North America (Sony Computer Entertainment America Inc.) 17.01 million units -Japan (Sony Computer Entertainment Japan) 10.97 million units Keep in mind this is only 3 months since Sony hit the 30 Million mark. My Thoughts
Is it me or is people buying PS2 consoles in three’s. ~ditto~
