Shenmue II boxart and more...
October 13th, 2002 (12:00am) -
Just a sneek-peek of what to look for this November. There are actually quite a few differences between the DC version and the Xbox version. Yu Suzuki has stated the following changes in an interview with XBN: *English voice-overs have been fully re-done. Sound effects have also been improved. *You can take pictures and save them to the Xbox HDD. *Optional Filters that change the look of the game The game as you play. *Improved textures and water effects. *You can also have up to 10 save files. *Some of the characters have been tweaked for various reasons, i.e., Ewan, a homosexual character, was removed for the American version and replaced with a woman since AM2 was unsure of how US gamers would respond to a gay character. *A free DVD of Shenmue: The Movie will be included. Shenmue: The Movie is a 90-minute movie describing the story of Shenmue Chapter 1: Yokosuka.
