Links latest adventure gets a name...
October 15th, 2002 (12:00am) - The official website for Nintendo of Japan has been updated revealing the title of the GameCube’s Legend of Zelda title. The game’s subtitle in Japanese reads The Legend of Zelda: Kaze no Takuto. Research was done by many Nintendo fans across the web in order to decipher what this title translates to in the English language, and so far so good.
A number of different translations have come up and here are the one that could possibly be the actual title for Link’s latest adventure: -The Legend of Zelda: The Wand of Wind -The Legend of Zelda: Rhythm of the Wind -The Legend of Zelda: Baton of the Wind According to the game’s director Eiji Aonuma the wind plays as an important factor in Link’s latest adventure. The game may or may not keep this title for its release in the US, past LoZ games have gone through localization changes and it is likely this one will as well. My thoughts: If I were to guess I would pick The Wand of Wind since it does sound similar to previous LoZ titles like The Ocarina of Time.
