Eidos current happenings... Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness delayed, TimeSplitters 2 selling best on the GameCube...
October 22nd, 2002 (12:00am) - Eidos latest installment in the aging Tomb Raider franchise, Angel of Darkness, has been delayed. Originally slated for a November 2002 release the game has been pushed back to February 2003. Eidos management has stated that Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness is in the final stages of testing and that the additional time will benefit the games polish and refinement. Eidos Board has said that the rescheduling of Tomb Raider will not affect its full-year financial performance. In similar news Eidos will also be delaying the release of Championship Manager 4 in the US until February 2003 as well. Time for some good news... Eidos top-ranked games Hitman 2 and Free Radicals critically acclaimed TimeSplitters 2 have performed far beyond the companys expectations. Hitman 2 has shipped more than 1 million copies worldwide, and the GameCube version of TimeSplitters 2 outperforming each of the other consoles sales.
