A game based on Pilgrimage coming to the GameCube...
October 23rd, 2002 (12:00am) - Just when you thought games couldnt get any wierder Japanese developer PIN-Change (Panasonic Innovation Navigator) is developing a GameCube travel simulation title by the name of Pilgrimage. Pilgrimage will make players retrace the steps of Kobo Daishi, a missionary who brought the beliefs of Shingon Buddhism from China to Japan. Kobo Daishis pilgrimage established dozens of temples and spanned 1,400 metes. Many people annually visit Kobo Daishi temples in his honor and that is what the game is trying to recreate ; providing gamers with virtual representations of each temple and numerous amounts of trivial minigames.
The game is planned for gamers of all ages and at the current time does not have a scheduled release date. My thoughts:...?! This is the number one title on my import list, forget Zelda! Forget Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicle this is the GameCube killer app weve been waiting for! If you couldnt already tell I was being sarcastic.
