Top Ten best selling games from 10/23 - 10/30 (U.S)...
October 31st, 2002 (12:00am) - The U.S finally has its own weekly sales chart courtesy of the investement research firm UBS Warburg. Unfortuantely, no numbers are available... Here are the top ten: 1) Grand Theft Auto: Vice City / Take-Two 2) Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 / Activision 3) The Lord of the Rings: Two Towers / Electronic Arts 4) NBA Live 2003 / Electronic Arts 5) Hitman 2 / Eidos 6) Kingdom Hearts / Square 7) Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 / Electronic Arts 8) TimeSplitters 2 / Eidos 9) Tekken 4 / Namco 10) Mario Party 4 / Nintendo It would be nice if these charts specified which console some of these titles are for, since many of them are multiplatform such as Eidos TimeSplitters 2 and Hitman 2. We could assume that the TimeSplitters 2 numbers are for the GameCube since Eidos themselves have said that the GCN version is selling best, but we all know what happens when we assume. But theres also a possibility that a multiplatform games ranking is based on its sales on all 3 platforms... Reported by Elias Dounis on October 31st, 2002 (12:00am)
