Ubi Soft ships Evolution Worlds for the Nintendo GameCube...

December 3rd, 2002 (12:00am) - Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world’s largest video game publishers, announced Evolution Worlds for the Nintendo GameCube has shipped to retail stores nationwide. Evolution Worlds is the highly anticipated, epic RPG adventure exclusive to Nintendo GameCube, which combines the stories from the best-selling Dreamcast RPGs, Evolution and Evolution 2. Evolution Worlds is rated "E-Everyone" and is available for a suggested retail price of $49.99.

"The Evolution series was such a huge hit on the Dreamcast system; we know gamers are anxious to check out Evolution Worlds on the Nintendo GameCube," said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubi Soft Entertainment. "By combining both Evolution 1 and 2, Evolution Worlds is a two-game-in-one bargain that the RPG-starved Nintendo GameCube audience will jump at."

In Evolution Worlds, players follow Mag Launcher and Linear Cannon, along with friends Chain Gun, Pepper Box, and Gre Nade to set out on a perilous journey to save the world from treacherous evil forces, and uncover the truth behind Evolutia -- an enchanted piece of mechanical body weaponry that is the last piece of an ancient civilization! Evolution Worlds’ unique gameplay utilizes a 360-degree, turn-based tactical combat system new to Nintendo GameCube, and features over 60 hours of gameplay with more than 100 characters. Additional features include:

-Randomized Dungeons - randomly generated dungeons allow for a unique experience every time you play

-Unique Fantasy Weaponry: magical body weaponry called Cyframes create extraordinary weapons, abilities, and magic unique to the Evolution series

-Discover Precious Artifacts and Treasures -- characters can earn magical powers and advanced special moves to increase their Cyframe’s power

-New Voice Parts - Evolution Worlds features voices for nearly all 100 characters
