Classic Nintendo puzzle games on the GameCube!
December 5th, 2002 (12:00am) - About a month ago the rumor popped up that Nintendo would be releasing a compilation featuring some of Nintendo’s famous puzzle titles. The compilation was rumored to include Tetris Attack, Yoshi’s Cookie and Dr. Mario and I personally thought that is sounded to ridiculous to be true. I was wrong… The infamous Japanese gaming publication Famitsu Weekly has confirmed that there indeed is a Nintendo puzzle compilation coming. It features the games Panel de Pon (Tetris Attack), Yoshi’s Cookie, and Dr. Mario. All of the games will now offer four-player support and will include the ability to be downloaded to your Game Boy Advance via GBA/GCN connection cable. The simply named Nintendo Puzzle Collection is scheduled for a January 2003 release for Japan. My thoughts: Tetris Attack is one of the most addicting games ever created and my personal favorite puzzle game. Unless the game is price at like $19.99 I might be hesitant to pick it up.
