Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto reveals the development of yet another new GameCube game…
 December 12th, 2002 (12:00am) - Nintendo’s master game designer Shigeru Miyamoto recently conducted and interview with the Japanese lifestyle magazine Sabra. Similar to how he leaked the development of both Pikmin 2 and Mario 128 he revealed in this interview that Nintendo is busy developing a sequel to Animal Forest Plus (Animal Crossing in the U.S.). Unfortunately, Mr. Miyamoto did not reveal and specific details about the title.
My Thoughts That’s great to hear. Animal Crossing is one of the most enjoyable GameCube games out there and it’s awesome to know that there is a sequel in development. Personally, I do not believe this will be a full fledged sequel…Instead I’m thinking it might just be an online version of the game…
